Barry 's work is very natural and realistic. His latest feature film, "Miss Meadows" starring Katie Holmes and directed by Karen Leigh Hopkins, is soon to be released. Markowitz also just wrapped the feature film "Wild Horses" directed by Robert Duvall starring James Franco.

Barry learned about cameras and lenses during a stint in the camera room of Ferco, a camera rental facility in New York. Markowitz likes to keep a low profile, working on commercials and other projects that keep him, in his own words, 'outside the club'. One can often catch up with Barry as he walks his dog in the shadow of the George Washington Bridge in NY City.
